Douglis Beck
| Design Principal

I have practiced and taught design for over 20 years. Mentored by Leslie Laskey, Juhani Pallasmaa, and Tom Heneghan — and working at a range of big, small, and medium firms — I have and remain driven by the belief that good design can make a difference in the world. I have taught Art History and Design courses at Webster University and in the Graduate School of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis. I believe in DESIGN as a broad, interdisciplinary endeavor, including architecture, graphics, and things. I am an advocate for big-picture thinking met with hands-on production, a strategic thinker and problem-solver, and get excited about the history and theory of design put to work.
