We understand design process because we have lived it. That shared vocabulary allows us to capture not just what a building looks like, but what it means — translating your design intent into imagery that performs across award submissions, publications, proposals, and marketing.

Trained as an architect, and a practitioner of design for over 30 years — I believe in DESIGN as a broad, interdisciplinary endeavor that includes architecture, graphics, objects, interiors, and photography — but most importantly, design is a business that responds to a client, purpose, or problem. As a professor at both Webster University and Washington University, my goal is to emphasize the importance of good design through seeing, thinking, and making. I am an active member of the AIA St. Louis chapter, serving on the Chapter Meeting Planning and the National Photography Competition committees. In addition, Documodern has been a long-time sponsor of the Annual Design Awards.
